Pomeranian baby front teeth at one year +???

I have this fab black Pom (see my avatar). He is the most wonderful creature, with a great physique. The only thing is, he did not lose his baby teeth by himself. I took him to have them pulled at one year at the Humane Society, but because only ONE his adult lower two middle front ones had "erupted", they left the two baby teeth, right in front on the bottom. Then, when i went back, they said just to leave it as is and see what happened. The vet agreed when I showed her afterwards.

Now, three months later, those two baby teeth are getting more and more worn down, but there is still just the one adult tooth showing behind. And they look too small anyway. It doesn't ruin his "smile" (tongue covers them when his mouth is open) , or show any decay, but I want to do the right thing. Suggestions or solutions from experienced folks, Please?

"Double" teeth can cause jaw alignment problems as well as could put pressure on the adult teeth causing them to shift overtime. If this cutie was my dog, I would have the baby teeth extracted. They may not be causing too much harm as of now, but they could cause oral problems in the future. Your dog does not need them, get them pulled. Especially considering he is well over a year old.
Reply:One of our poms ended up having her adult teeth grow in, before her baby teeth fell out . She looked like a little shark with two rows of teeth. We took her to the vet. He said to wait a few months to see if the baby teeth fell out, If not then they would have to extract them. He said her teeth looked fine and as long as she was eating and not showing signs of pain not to worry. In a month or so she did start loosing her baby teeth. We took her back to the vet , and he have her a good bill of health. He also said that in smaller breeds of dogs they will sometimes get their adult teeth before their baby teeth fall out.
Reply:i had to have my puppys teeth pulled.
Reply:If my dog has any retain baby teeth I`m having them pulled while he is neutered, that way he`s already out.
