Is it normal, with children when their front two teeth first come in to be gapped? Will this fix on its own?

My daughter is 1. She has her two bottem teeth in so far and her top two front teeth have just started coming down but they are gapped. Im wondering if it will change once the other teeth come in or if this will stay like this. Do baby teeth have anything to do with adult teeth? If her baby teeth are gapped will her adult teeth come in the same way?

She is perfectly normal. Gaps are very common in baby teeth. Both of my sons' first teeth were their canines - looked just like vampires. Even when their adult teeth come in there is no guarantee of the final outcome until well into the preteens.
Reply:IN A CHILD SO YOUNG THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM. DON'T WORRY.
Reply:if the baby teeth are gapped..then its a good sign that their adult teeth will be well aligned.so dont worry..only worry if ur child have a well aligned baby teeth
Reply:My daughter had a gap in her two front teeth when they first came in, but after all the other baby teeth started coming in it pushed the gap together. She lost that gap by the time she was around 4. This doesn't always happen, but I have seen it happen quite a bit.
Reply:Gaps in the primary dentition are called primate spaces, and they are actually like that to allow correct spacing for the adult teeth. Otherwise the adult teeth can grow in too close together and become crowded. The adult tooth grows right above and behind the baby tooth but remember it is wider and bigger, so it needs the extra space.
