How many teeth are there in a adult mouth?

It depends upon the adult. ;)

The normal amount is 32 teeth, including the 4 wisdom teeth.

8 incisors (4 upper, 4 lower)

4 canines (2 upper, 2 lower)

8 premolars (4 upper, 4 lower)

12 molars (6 upper, 6 lower)- this includes the wisdom teeth that are often removed.

Sometimes people don't have all 32, and sometimes they do, but they don't come all of the way into the mouth, and some people are born with more than 32.

The usual number, though, is 32.

In the full adult dentition, there are 32 teeth... 16 on the maxilla (upper jaw) and 16 on the mandible (lower jaw).
Reply:before having wisdom teeth removed-32.
