Yes. It still contains calcium and you still need calcium to maintain your teeth.
But, you don't need it as much as you did when you were a kid. Your teeth are already formed.
As an adult does milk still help your teeth?
i hate milk
Reply:I don't think so.except that adult is a kid.
Reply:the chance that it will help your teeth in a major way is doubtful. sorry.
Reply:Yes! As an adult, teeth don't absorb as quickly as childrens, however they are bone and require calcium.
Reply:There are many sources of calcium that are available without tormenting your digestive system with dairy products. Humans are the only mammals that drink milk after infancy. They are also the only ones who drink the milk of other mammals. There is very little difference between the composition of milk and blood. It really is kind of disgusting.
Reply:As an adult, the main benefit of drinking mild is that it's a source of calcium, which you need for good bone health. It also supplies a minimal amount of Vitamin D. If you aren't a big milk fan, take a good quality multi-vitamin and skip the milk!
Reply:no, but it helps your bone
Reply:Most Definately!!
Reply:No, once teeth have been formed, then any damage will be external and cannot be fixed by the body because teeth are not a living tissue (unlike bone). Think of teeth as more like a crystal.
However, plain milk is low in sugar and non-acidic which is much less harmful than sodas and fruit juices, so drink up!
