I have a baby parana and want to know how long till he becomes furosious?
How long does it take for a parana to develope it's teeth? to become an adult?
By the time you read this your pet may already have teeth, they come in quickly and he'll go thru several sets during his lifetime. And he won't be ferocious, piranha won't attack unless they're very hungry or there is blood in the water, then they're like a shark and they go into a feeding frenzy. In the Amazon native guides routinely wade and swim around the boats in piranha-infested areas and if they have no cuts they seem to feel safe. I wouldn't do it but I've seen them do it without any hesitation.
