My son lost his first baby tooth today. When should we expect to see the adult teeth coming in? weeks months?

His tooth was a bottom tooth. As well he has had 4 top teeth pulled when he was 3 due to seizure medication eating the enamal off of them. Causing severe decay. Im just curious when we should start looking for the permanant teeth to start showing. He is 5 yrs 4 months old.

Reply:It should be within a few weeks. Normally, teeth fall out because the other adult tooth is pushing around on it, so it shouldn%26#039;t take too long.
Reply:about 2-3 weeks, but watch him and keep him from sweet or licking the area.

If you are referring to a lower tooth in the %26quot;middle%26quot; (central incisor),


this tooth is normally replaced by the permanent one @6-7 years. These are normally the ones that first fall out.





As far as him having those other 4 teeth extracted ( I assume the 4 upper middle teeth), those normally get replaced by 7-9yrs of age, tho having them extracted prematurely may delay this eruption.
Reply:My daughter is 7 and just now lost the top two front teeth, the bottom teeth were lost around 5 and the permanents were in by 6.
